INTRO A unique announcement by the announcer rostered for the specific hour. It could be along the lines "Hi this is John Smith with you for the next hour". It allows you to give the impression that the next hours automation is the product of an individual presentation.

LIVE A formatted pause in the automation for an announcer in the studio to speak. The automation will be silent for a specified period, or in step mode, will wait for a button click to continue. This is the easiest form of radio there is! Everything is done for you, you simply have to speak.

RAW FILENAME Robot will often display the filename of an audio file playing. It will not however display the full pathname or suffix (like .MP3) to save space. Therefore the Raw filename of "C:\SONGS\Asong - aartist.wav" would be "Asong -aartist".
OVERLAY Robot is capable of mixing four stereo channels simultaneously into the left and right output of your soundcard. This consists of the Primary (or L & R channel 1) and channels 2,3 and 4. This is used mainly to place speech over a song that is playing, although is limited only to your creativity.
| L | R | >> L & R Normal signal to air
| L | R | L | R | L | R | L | R | >> L & R With overlay channel's)
FORMAT SPECIFIC TERMS:
FORMAT - The plan of how your hour will sound - where a song is played, where an ID is played etc.
PRO, STD - You can choose to use formatting with only one channel (L & R) which means only one item will play at once. This is STD or standard mode.
