Robot can be started and stopped manually by you or your announcers or you can set it to automatically stop and start according to your broadcast schedule. You can setup a schedule one year in advance.
You do not have to control Robot's operation, you can simply press the play and stop button manually. The operation screen allows you to plan live shows around automation to save you the trouble of starting and stopping it!
Select the month from the drop down menu at the screens top.
Select the day and day part cell by selecting it then clicking within it.
Each Cell has the drop down options PLAY, STOP and WARN. PLAY means the automation will play or re-start during this hour. STOP means the automation will stop and be silent during this hour (you might use this option when live announcers are always in the studio without default, they can ignore the automation as it will automatically start again at the next PLAY cell). You can also use WARN which means the automation will start warning you before it stops in advance. If your announcer in the studio does not click the ready button, Robot will continue to play. You would use this option for time slots which sometimes have announcers and they might want to switch the automation off to announce live.
Warn Time
Using the drop down menu select the number of minutes in advance the announcer should be warned a "WARN" event is coming up.
