Robot has an extensive scheduler which will play audio items at the precise minute you schedule them. You might use this function to stop and start satellite automation, Outside broadcast or play pre-recorded programs at set times. Whilst most stations will rely upon automation, you can also pre-plan every single audio item in every single day manually yourself should you have someone employed for managing the stations traffic.

The viewer window is a listing of scheduled events and is divided into three modes:
7 Day, Edit and Planning Mode. 7 Day Mode is a separate sub-system specific to the scheduler and is not activated when selecting 7 Day mode on the format screen.

7 DAY MODE
This mode lets you schedule audio or other events to specific minutes over a seven day period only. In 7 day mode the selectors for months, days and the year are grayed out. In other modes the day selector is grayed out.
In this mode (only) you can also use the "Copy Day" and "Paste Day" buttons to move complete days schedules around.

PLANNING MODE:
Planning mode lets you see across a range of months or within a year what events you have scheduled.
You can schedule "events": either audio to be played or satellite channels to be started and stopped.

Day (menu)
Drop down menu selects the day of the month.

Month (menu)
Drop down menu selects the month.

Year (Field)
Edit box selects the year (the current year is always automatically inserted for you).

Month (Button)
Used in Planning Mode: all scheduled events for the selected month are displayed.

Year (Button)
Used in Planning Mode: all scheduled events for the selected year are displayed.

EDIT MODE:
Edit Mode lets you actually add events.

Edit (Button)
Select the edit mode and add or remove events from the schedule.

In Edit mode the viewer window is sorted listing according to the day, month and year you have selected.

Select the start time for your event from the drop down menu's. The first is the hour in 24 hour time, the second the minutes.

Later the end time will be calculated for you.
